The fog has pushed on for the time being and everything outside is soft and quiet. I want to take a moment to wish everyone a very merry Christmas. May your hours overflow with laughter and love. And may the truest miracle of the season move beyond the rooftop into the welcoming mangers of our hearts.

Thank you my friend, for sharing part of your Christmas with me! Now, if you would just share some of the snow! :)
Same to you, Bryan. I enjoyed getting to catch up a little. If I could share some snow with you guys, I certainly would. I spent enough years yearning for the stuff...I'd never be stingy with it! :) I hope you enjoy the rest of your days off. If we don't connect before then...Happy New Year to you and Laurie!
Kimberlee, I have to tell you that we had to have the AC on for our Christmas to be bearable this year, but it didn't stop us from watching "White Christmas" on TV as we do every year.
SNB...
In the 80's on Christmas??? Those kinds of temperatures used to drive me NUTS when I lived down South. I remember wearing shorts on Christmas one year! All the while, I was always praying for snow!
I really like watching White Christmas too. I think I watched it three times this year and even caught A Christmas Story for the first time ever.
Have a Happy New Year...stay close to the air conditioner and think cool thoughts! :)
Well, we dropped 45 degrees last night, so it feels more like December now at 34.
Yeah! That's more like it! Hopefully, the temps won't drop down too far and ruin all that beautiful fruit hanging on the trees!
Some confusion has occurred: we celebrated Christmas in my hometown in central Florida, 250 miles south of where I now live and have lived for the past 30 years, in Tallahassee. While a few citrus tree varieties can survive and even thrive here, it gets too cold for the groves that produce the bulk of Florida's citrus. We have three real seasons here and central Florida has only summer and a cool time.
SNB...
Ahhh! I probably didn't read your post carefully enough. I was imagining those trees at your house. Still, the idea that anything that luscious is growing ANYWHERE in the U.S. is amazing to me. :)
The next time I travel southward, I have to see if I can find one of those pummelos you mentioned on your blog. They sound wonderful!
How beautiful! Yes, please send snow! :D
